Bweza Gorilla Lodge is the ideal place in Rushaga sector where guests can experience an authentic gorilla trekking adventure with outstanding comfort. The lodge sits comfortably at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a rainforest and a lush jungle region in south western Uganda. Bweza is a comfortable midrange accommodation property and it is set 20 minutes off from the gorilla trekking and center in Rushaga.
The lodge is located along the boundary line of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park close to the starting point of trekking to the gorillas. Bweza lies in the remotest part of the country southwestern Uganda. The quickest route is by air to the Kisoro airstrip.
Bweza Gorilla Lodge features 5 luxurious en-suite rooms with a capacity of 10 people ideal for single, double and family with private wooden balconies overlooking the wilderness. The en-suite rooms are positioned in a way that guests can enjoy the breathtaking views of its ancient canopy of trees decorating the lofty hills. The main lodge features the dining room, a relaxation lounge, spa treatment room and a quaint nook where the bar is situated. The architecture and deco are comfortable and all amenities from home are provided. The rooms have solar powered lighting, en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water and flush toilets. Each unit at the lodge is designed to look like stand-alone log cabins that blend in with the surrounding rainforest. Some of the units come with a deep set standalone bath and a fireplace.
